I increased it to a number that works and no the graphs are populated! It was specifically in PHP4 in the the memory_limit statement that was to small. The graphing seems tohave stopped during a major network outage, but that was resolved the same evening - graphs still aren't updated. The poller still runs, and is able to gather snmp data. I've tried rebuilding the poller_cache and even rebooted the machine to no avail. Hi everyone, Just found out that last friday, the graphs on cacti stopped updating.
The filestamps of the files in the rra subdirectory are all from last friday.
I assume the graphs are showing NAN for the values. All was working good when I had about 45 devices configured.
Then I added 20 more and that is when all the graphs stopped recording new data.
The number of hosts etc in the cacti conf had grown so the memory limit sin was to small.
I increased it to a number that works and no the graphs are populated! In my case I found the error through running the poller script in CLI mode.
If you goto the devices in the devices tab, do the hosts show active SNMP info at the top? Thanks Jimmy The install was the Beta 3 CD SNMP seemed to be working OK because I could create new devices and under Devices I could see SNMP activity on all earlier configured devices.
For days the Graphs were all looking good and I continued to add new devices. Tried some basic steps of rebooting the Cacti Server. If you can please point where I should be looking to troubleshoot Thanks in advance for your help I’m very new to cacti. For days the Graphs were all looking good and I continued to add new devices. The graphing seems tohave stopped during a major network outage, but that was resolved the same evening - graphs still aren't updated. The graphs are still there and properly visible trough the website, they just don't get any new data added even though the poller still runs and is able to retrieve SNMP data according to the poller log. is able to retrieve SNMP data according to the poller log. Have you tried strace-ing the poller process to see if it can do everything it's meant to be doing?
Have any permissions changed on the directories your RRDs live in?
