To use Power Shell to give a user or group Full Access rights: Now you can remove the license from the account in Users and Groups. Two dialogs will warn you that removing the license will delete the mailbox and the contents, however, because you converted the mailbox to a shared mailbox before removing the license, the mailbox won't be deleted.I checked the "hide address book from global list" option.

I thought maybe it is permission issues, because the OAB folder did not have all the permissions set in this article...

I will just let it try to replicate tonight and see what happens.

var microsoft = microsoft || ; microsoft.support = microsoft.support || ; microsoft.support.content = (function(){ return { "click Tale Configuration": , "Internal Content Config": , "Mwf Configuration": , "Rps Sign In Info": , "Site Content Config": { "Link Farm Enabled": true, "One Site Service Uri": "https://uhf.microsoft.com//shell/xml/?

Exchange Server 2008, .005 Server 2008 R2 Outlook client 2007, SP3 I created a new user in our exchange server.

I guess I can wait for it to try and replicate itself. Curious, does anyone know if public folders must be enabled for OAB to work?

I remember on the last MS ticket, that microsoft turned off public folders, there is a selection for it somewhere in the management console but I dont remember. There are no errors in the sync issues folder No errors when I do send/receive either Perhaps this is a replication issue, between the server with the shared OAB and the mailbox servers.Create a shared mailbox in Exchange or Office 365 While I’d export the mailbox to a pst for backup, delete it and add the user’s address(es) to the mailbox of the person who took over the job, it is possible to convert a mailbox to a shared mailbox.Shared mailboxes in the Business and Exchange Online Plan 1 and Plan 2 have a quota of 50 GB.After converting the mailbox, give other users Full Access and Send As permission as needed. You can do this from the Exchange Control Panel or using Power Shell.Outlook 2007 & 2010 can use web distributed OAB and PF OAB, but will only use web if both are available. Is outlook not giving you an error when you do send/receive-- However this new user is not updating on the global address books for outlook (its not there), however the address book for OWA does update - Its a OAB issue and not GAL try with the below command and then Update the "Address Book" on the client and check Get-Offline Address Book | Update-Offline Address Book - Rancy I ran the command on the mailbox server, then went to client and updated the address book again and it does not have new names.Once finished, remove the license from the mailbox in the Office 365 Admin center.Select the account again, then click Edit to the right of Product licenses. It needs to be run on Exchange shell on Exchange server :) Look ideally the OAB update happens everyday at midnight so either you wait for sometime or once update happens need to check if its few days then if OAB is getting generated on the Mailbox server "Exchange OAB" folder and Transferred to CAS server and "OAB" folder is updated with same GUID folder and LZX files till today.- Rancy Yes thats the update on Mailbox if for some reason FDS service on CAS cannot pull thats where the clients (Outlook) will pull the OAB data from.
